1st Annual Golf Scramble Tournament

Join us at Desert Hills Private Golf Club for a fun event to raise money for the It Takes The Community Scholarship Fund. Golf, Tri-Tip Dinner, Raffle Prizes, and Silent Auction.

Empowering parents and children through this community scholarship fund. We believe that childcare plays an important role in raising the next generation in our community. We know that many parents need to work to provide for their family. Children need a high quality learning environment. This scholarship will help working parents afford the best childcare in Sahuarita, AZ. Bringing community together to golf is one way of supporting this very important scholarship fund.

Set Sail! Vacation Bible School

Ahoy, mates! We’re sounding the ship’s horn at Grace Lutheran Church. Children ages 3 — 10 are invited to join in Set Sail! — a Vacation Bible School with a sailing theme.

  • Ages 3 — 10

  • Featuring songs, games, Bible lesson, and crafts

Grace Lutheran Church is located at 830 N 1st Ave, 85719 (Euclid & 2nd Street). Siblings older than 10 are welcome to help and volunteer for each day’s fun activities.

Grace Lutheran is hosting a celebration of Jesus' empty tomb for kids age 3 through grade 5. Some of our activities will include:

  • Hunting for Easter eggs

  • Making crafts

  • Singing songs

  • Learning the Easter account

  • Eating lunch

Vail Indoor Carnival

On Saturday, September 1, from 1:00-4:00 PM, Grace-Vail will be hosting an Indoor Kid’s Carnival at Esmond Station (9400 S. Atterbury Wash Way, 85747). The carnival will include a bouncy castle, inflatable obstacle course, cotton candy, popcorn, snow-cones, cookie decorating, face-painting, balloon animals, carnival games and a free drawing! There is no cost to attend the carnival, but please bring non-perishable food items which will be collected for the Vail Food Bank. Suggested donations include: Tomato Sauce (cans), pasta (1lb packages), canned fruit, peanut butter (in plastic), cereal, canned meats, rice, and mac & cheese (1lb packages).

Wednesday midweek services will be held at Grace-Benson, Grace-Sahuarita, and Grace-Tucson every Wednesday beginning on February 14 through March 21. The theme for our services is “Jesus Christ Is Our Great High Priest.” The sermons and service themes will rotate among the various sites, so worshipers who attend more than one site could hear a sermon repeated.
