First Reading: Zechariah 9:9-10. The prophet foretold of a Savior King who would rule with gentleness and bring peace to the ends of the earth.

Second Reading: Philippians 2:5-11. There is none greater than King Jesus. Yet there is none humbler than King Jesus.

Gospel and Sermon Text: Matthew 21:1-11. Look, Your King Comes to You.

Jesus humbly entered David’s Royal City Jerusalem in the name of the Lord to save us. He is powerful; he is humble; he is focused.
